What we collect, and what we do with it
This policy covers BuenaParkCAPlumbingPoint.com and the dispatch service reached through it. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, call (714) 386-7076 and ask.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The only party your details are passed to is the independent plumbing contractor dispatched to your property, and only what they need to do the job.
Information you give us
When you call, or email dispatch@buenaparkcaplumbingpoint.com, we collect what the job requires: your name, the service address, a contact phone number, and a description of the plumbing problem. If you tell us about access arrangements, tenants, pets or operating hours, we hold that too, because the plumber needs it.
Information collected automatically
Standard web server and analytics data: the pages you visit, the referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
Phone calls
Dispatch calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. If a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of it, and you can ask for recording to stop and still receive service.
How the information is used
- To dispatch a plumber which means passing your address, phone number and problem description to the contractor taking the job.
- To follow up on scheduling, arrival windows and whether the work was completed properly.
- To handle complaints including reviewing what happened with the contractor involved.
- To improve the site using aggregate analytics rather than individual tracking.
- To meet legal obligations such as permit records, tax records and responding to lawful requests.
Who your information is shared with
The dispatched contractor, and service providers who operate parts of the service on our behalf: web hosting, analytics, call handling and email delivery. Those providers are contractually limited to what they need. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone from harm.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses functional cookies to remember interface state, and aggregate analytics cookies to count page visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.
Retention
Job records are kept for as long as needed to support the work, any guarantee attached to it, and applicable record-keeping and tax requirements, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. Call recordings are kept for a limited period and then overwritten.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the other rights are live and you can exercise them.
To make a request, call (714) 386-7076 or email dispatch@buenaparkcaplumbingpoint.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We will verify the request, respond within 45 days, and extend that once with notice only if it is genuinely necessary. You will not be treated differently for asking.
Security
Access to job records is limited to the people who need it, transmission to and from the site is encrypted, and contractors receive job details rather than a database. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but nothing is collected here that does not have a job to do.
Children
This is a plumbing dispatch service. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided information, call and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be summarised here rather than buried. Continuing to use the service after a change means the updated policy applies.
